Why Corridor?
Over the past few years, I worked with hundreds of expert consultants who primarily served large businesses. I thought they provided an incredible value to the clients they supported – they found savings, they had teams dedicated to employee support, and they went to bat for their customers. At the same time, I saw how underserved small businesses were. I wanted to find a way to bridge that gap, to provide world-class health insurance brokerage services to the smallest businesses in America.
How do you prepare to meet a client?
I try to empathize as much as I can with the client. I look at their mission and their team, and ask myself if I really believe that I'm the best person to help them. If I don't, I let them know that I can't confidently address their needs. If I do, I work to earn their trust.
If you overheard a client describing us to another business owner one year in, what would you hope they say?
For me, it's less about what they say and more about how they say it. My dream is for clients to speak about us with joy.
What are your interests and passions outside of Corridor?
I love spending time with my cockapoo puppy Mud and my fiancé Niki. I'm a huge fan of games – poker, catan, cambio, backgammon, dominos, etc. I'm always down for 3v3 pickup and runs around Brooklyn par.
